Eternity Falls from My Feet is the fifth part of a seven-movement work for orchestra entitledToBind The Sweet Influences. In addition to movements for the full orchestra, there are stand-alone movements that feature each section of the orchestra individually. This movement for percussion is inspired by William Blake’s poem “Auguries of Innocence”

To see a world in a grain of sand,                                                                                                              And a heaven in a wild flower,                                                                                                                   Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,                                                                                                     And eternity in an hour.
